Lyrics

I'm an older crunchy granola chick from Boulder
And a baby boomer to boot
Waiting in line at the farmer's market
For this week's organic fruit

They've got peaches from Paonia
And plums from Palisade
Corn picked just this morning
And the freshest eggs ever laid

I'm a Boulder baby boomer
An organic consumer
Ain't nothing much cooler
Than a Boulder baby boomer

I'm a crunchy older granola chick from Boulder
I saw the grateful dead at Folsom Field (the real dead with Jerry)
I used to be uptight, angry, and afraid
Through self-help meditation yoga, I've been healed

I don't rock climb, but I used to
I still dance on the mall in summer
Always try to do something for homeless folks
Cause that stuff is a bummer

I'm a Boulder baby boomer
An organic consumer
Ain't nothing much cooler
Than a Boulder baby boomer

I'm a chicky older granola crunch from Boulder
I drive an electric car
It doesn't have much range, but since my town has all I need
I never have to go too far

We've got a tea house from Tajikistan, a coffee shop on every corner
Hippie bluegrass church on Sundays
And a mall
With street performers

25 square miles surrounded by reality
A safe space to be gluten-free

I'm a Boulder baby boomer
An organic consumer
Ain't nothing much cooler
Than a Boulder baby boomer
